In A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, our protagonist Pip might only be a senior in high school, but she is smart, fearless and is obsessively determined to investigate a murder/suicide that happened in her town five years prior. She has a lot going on and no time to waste on nonsense, so it’s no wonder she already takes her coffee black. Therefore, the drink that I choose to pair with “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” is an espresso martini. This riveting book will keep you up reading past your bedtime, so the extra dose of caffeine is a welcome crime-solving aid.
